Description:
This beautiful 55 T Bird is a nearly complete project car. All of the body work, undercarriage and frame work, trans / engine work has been complete. It has been finished in its original Thunderbird Blue, retains its original Y block V8, trans, and rear end. This is a 3 speed car with manual overdrive. The car retains its original chrome, which has been rechromed, and still wrapped in its protective plastic from the shop. The vehicle has its original TeaPot carb and does come with the factory air cleaner, as well as a newer updated air cleaner. The vehicle has either its original parts rebuilt, or has concourse quality parts installed. Does come with original clock and tach. The t bird comes with its original steering column which has been rebuilt. These are impossible to find! The dash, seat, door panels, and top were all reupholstered at a professional trim shop.
The car does need finished and I do not have the time to finish. Here is a list of what it needs to be completed:
Engine oil filled, coolant filled, tuned, air cleaner installed.
Original hub caps polished and original wheels painted. install hub caps
Install windshield. It is currently mocked up
Install carpet, seat frame and seat.
Install vinyl divider behind seat
Install clock, a couple dash bezels, and overdrive linkage rod.
Polish paint, remove plastic from chrome and polish, wax paint, add emblems
Vehicle does come with appraisal, all receipts for parts and parts listing, massive amount of original parts. These cars fetch over $35K completed especially in Thunderbird Blue. Car has a clear title.
This Needs gone ASAP!!!! I am willing to negotiate on price. As it sits now you are already getting way more for your money in parts and labor. For those of you who know, body work and paint is not cheap!. but it is all done and ready to go. I think my price is very fair. Completing the vehicle would take two good car guys about 2 weekends.
