Description:
Here is an opportunity to own one of the last cars to come from Hot Rod Builder Boyd Coddington before his untimely death. Documentation is provided to show Joe Coddington (Boyd’s Wife) contacting the Owner of the car with the two shops that would be opening as a spin off to Hotrods By Boyd’s. The car starts out as a Brookville all steel body that is cast from molds taken from an original 1932 Roadster, it is a recreation right down to the inner panels, seat risers, handles, latches, etc. The Z’d frame is also custom built by Boyd’s along with the fully machined independent suspension and chassis. The Engine is a carbureted LS3, with Edelbrock manifold and carburetor. Behind the engine is a 700R4 four speed automatic transmission fully painted to match the chassis. The colors are laid down with a Deltron paint scheme of candy orange on bottom and candy root beer on top. This all rolls down the road on a one off set of one off Boyd Coddington Wheels with hidden lugs. The brake calipers and rear end are also custom machined by Boyd with 4 wheel disk brakes and vented rotors. The interior has a saddle color high grade leather seat and door panels with German weave carpet on the floor and in the trunk that matches the paint scheme perfectly. The gauges have also been color matched to paint scheme as well for that extra touch you would expect from a car of this caliber. This car has been in private collection since built and has less than 1000 miles on it since it was completed.
