1940 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Custom Rat Rod | Ford 302 V8 | $17,500
This 1940 Chevrolet Master Deluxe has a story behind it. It was built between 2007 and 2010 by my son's grandfather and a friend, then passed down to his grandson. We received the car in 2019 and have driven it approximately 200 miles since.
Under its flat black finish is a genuine steel Chevrolet body powered by a Ford 302 V8 paired with a C4 automatic transmission. The custom chassis, suspension, and basic interior give it the distinctive look and personality of a traditional rat rod hot rod.
The car starts and drives great. Videos of the car starting and driving are available for serious buyers.
The car has been kept in a garage. The sale includes the original Chevrolet/Fisher Body service and construction manual, receipts for many components, installation instructions, and four historical photographs of the car. Aso have a photo of the grandfather and grandson at the time the car was passed down.
This is a custom-built hot rod with history and character, not a factory-original restoration.
