1934 Ford Panel Truck. This is an older build, reported to have been built in the 1990’s by a gentleman in Pennsylvania. It has a full Fox-body Mustang power train, suspension, and undercarriage with a 5.0 liter V-8 pushing a Ford AOD overdrive transmission. American Racing Torque Thrust wheels are wrapped in older Kelly tires. Braking is accomplished with front disc and rear drum brakes. The body features Olds Vista Cruiser-style Plexiglas windows in the roof providing natural light to the cargo area.
The interior has older gray bucket seats from an S-10, power windows, tilt wheel, and an older cassette stereo (currently inoperable) but has no heat or air conditioning. Gauges are from Phantom and the odometer shows under 4,000 miles. A hatch in the wood bed floor hides the battery, located near the rear doors.
The truck looks beautiful from a distance but a closer inspection shows that it has been around a while and the door latches need some adjustment. It is not a trailer queen but a driver, although the seating can be tight for larger and taller drivers.
