This truck features a 300 4.9L inline-6 engine. It has a 5-speed manual transmission paired with a differential from a 2001 F-150 Lightning. The truck was absolutely restored from the ground up in 2024; we spent 11 months—from January 2024 to November 2024—working on its restoration, investing over $35,000 and 11 months of labor into it. It features an MSD ignition system, F-150 Lightning fuel injectors, and dual Delphi 120 PSI fuel pumps. The engine was completely rebuilt and painted from scratch, featuring several chrome components. The paintwork is entirely new (applied in 2024), and the interior has been fully restored, including seats from a 2007 F-150 that have been reupholstered in leather. It rides on 20-inch, first-generation Lightning-style wheels. The exhaust system is a custom-fabricated 4-inch setup featuring Hedman headers and a MagnaFlow muffler. The suspension features a DJM lowering kit, dropping the front end by 3 inches and the rear by 6 inches. The rear differential was custom-fitted from a 2001 Ford Lightning. It features 4-wheel disc brakes and retains its original 5-speed manual transmission. It is equipped with brand-new headlights and taillights featuring LED internals, a 120-amp Mustang alternator, and a high-performance OPTIMA 800CCA battery. The power steering pump was sourced from a 2006 Silverado and custom-adapted to provide significantly smoother steering feel. The air conditioning system is entirely new, featuring a 4-inch radiator and electric cooling fans from Summit Racing. The audio system features Orion speakers in the doors paired with a Pioneer head unit that allows you to hide the screen if desired. It boasts many other features; ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING HAS BEEN RESTORED, and a vast number of parts are brand new.
I still retain receipts for many of the parts used. I also have photographs documenting the entire restoration process. Since its restoration was completed, the truck has traveled only 1,460 miles. It has also won several trophies at classic truck shows. The price is $32,000.
