This 1957 Dodge COE (Cab Over Engine) truck is from Montana. Currently tagged, titled, and licensed as a classic vehicle in KY. This all steel body rides on a 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 chassis and running gear. It has a Vortec 5.3 engine with the 4L60e transmission. This is a mid-engine ride. I moved the engine back about 4’. This truck is a very unique/unusual ride. Ride Tech air suspension system is on all 4 corners. The dash is a 1959/60 Impala with full Dakota Digital gauges. Flaming River polished SS column. Polished aluminum LS radiator. The usual Hot Rod stuff: PW, remote PD with door poppers, PS, 4 wheel disc PB. The brake system is a new hydro boost unit that utilizes power steering fluid. New glass in ALL windows. Console auto shifter is the early GM style saddle shifter (new - not a rebuilt unit). Still a work-in-progress that is 100% drivable.
