Description:
1934 FORD PICKUP TRUCK How about a 1934 FORD Pickup Truck with a FORD Engine, Three working Deuces and to top it all off a nice Four Speed transmission! How many hotrods have you seen with THAT combination? A very rare combination indeed! “A Ford in a Ford with just the right attitude” This is a high end professional build with lots of quality and attention to detail. Let’s first start with the engine. Based on the engine block numbers, this engine started out as Ford Y block with a stamped cast number of ECG 6059B which indicates this engine block was a FORD 292 CI. The ECG indicates the block was manufactured between the years 1955-1964 for the Thunderbird or Mercury car line. The original builder has indicated to us, that this engine was originally a 292 Y block. This engine was punched 30 over making it a 312 CI. The transmission is a t10 from a Galaxy 500. Rear end came from a Ford explorer and has a 8.8 with 3.73 gears limited slip. Engine was rebuilt with a mild cam. Trans was done by Wayne at Russel Transmission. Kugel component 90 degree brake clutch master was installed under dash. This hotrod is all steel. Chopped 3" and channeled. Let’s just say, it’s got the right sound, especially when all three carburetors kick in. This engine uses an Edelbrock intake manifold with THREE, recently rebuilt, working Holly carburetors, Offenhauser heads and valve cover, Mallory distributor, Ceramic coated headers, with dual exhaust pipes. The radiator is a four qtr. aluminum tank and runs a cooling fan. Running tempter, summer months, ranges between 195-210 degrees. Water temperature gauge has a new sender. Oil pressure is in the range of 45-60. The oil, plugs and oil filter were recently changed. The filter is a K&N. Carburetors are tuned. Fuel pressure gauge was recently added and is new. The 1934 Ford body and bed are all steel. NO Fiberglass here! Body has a 3 inch chop. The firewall is clean, doors are hung correctly and all lines are straight. Front steel grill is a 32. Frame was professionally built, boxed and powered coated jet black. All break, gas line and wiring are properly secured, straight and clean. The truck bed and body are painted a Satin Black which makes the red lipstick leather interior pop, Rims support the chrome Ford insignia hubcaps and chrome outer rim. Front tires are P205/75R 15 and are like new, rear tires are P275/60R 15 and are new. All four tires have a 3 inch white wall. The red rims and white wall tires set against the Satin Black paint finish makes this truck a real head turner at any car show. But wait there’s still more! The shifter is a HURST 4 speed. Kind of cool for us that like the idea of going through the gears! His hotrod brings back all the good time memories. The truck uses Dolphin gauges that are all working. Speedometer gauge, cable and reverse gear are all new. Clutch and break peddles were lowered and the foam in the seat was thinned about 2 inched thus providing additional leg room. The passenger side door latch was recently replaced. The frame supports a 15 gallon fuel tank. The Ford rear end has coil over shocks. The front suspension is a straight 4 inch drop axle. Both rear end and front suspension are tied to the frame using 4 point suspension links. Truck has tilted steering. Stopping power, get this, this truck has 4 that’s front and rear Wilwood disc brakes. The pads are like new and the battery was recently replaced. Truck bed has a beautiful wood Oak floor with chrome trim. The cab has all new glass and the front windshield opens for ventilation. An excellent fun driving machine! Asking price $33,900.
