Description:
This car was born out of, but not one of the 25 Callaway Camaros created for Rick Hendricks to celebrate his 25th anniversary of his racing team (2009). One of the 25 was displayed at SEMA 2009 and the response was great. Callaway decided to create these cars for the public and purchased this car, tricked it out and drove it to all the major auctions for three years (racked up 68,000 miles). The 2014 body style changed so Callaway offered this car for sale and I bought it 2/3/2014. The Callaway mods included TVS 2300cc chrome blower, Ibach suspension, Stop-Tech brakes all around, exhaust, carbon fiber spoiler, defuser, splitter, and rocker panels, Callaway nine spoke wheels, Callaway trim (leather seats etc..).
Mods made by my race shop: forged internals balanced to 2/1000th of a gram, ZL1 strut support, long tube headers, dual disc clutch, G-Force rear axles, exhaust pyrometers, manual boost gauge, heads up display, ZL1 cylinder heads, ARP fasteners throughout, ZL1 fuel pump, new Delco starter and alternator, 3.91 rear axle ratio (1LE gears), GodSpeed custom roll cage, HD radiator, Isky needless roller lifters, BTR high flow injectors (85 pounds), Petronix porcelain plug wires, Brian Tooley Stage 3 blower cam & valve spring kit.
