Driver Mods and Features of this Completely Sorted Car: Rebuilt stock 289 cu. In. Studebaker engine and total rebuild of Borg Warner automatic transmission. “Vintage Air” Air Conditioning with R-134A refrigerant. New Stratovue mirrors since pics. Spal dual 11” electric fans and shroud, with Dakota Digital fan controller in glove compartment. Smaller water-pump pulleys to move coolant more rapidly. Driver’s side fender well BlueSea electrical sub panel with battery shut off, ground collector, two fan relays, high and low headlight relays, and midi and atc fuses, for all including a.c. Ron Frances Access 24/7 Wiring Harness with 24 circuit fuse panel that detaches from fire wall for easy access. Ron Frances electrical switches, with emergency flashers, third brake light, and phone charger. Eight Speedhut programmable electronic gauges; including GPS speedometer. Pertronix II electronic Ignition and coil for Delco window distributor, with switched coil wire for security and easy vehicle maintenance. GM CS-130 160 amp alternator, with fused No. 2 gauge, 2,900 strand, wire to Solenoid and adjacent junction block. #1 gauge Battery Cables and comprehensive system of proper grounds. 2 bl. Carb rebuilt by The Old Carb Doctor and Centroid electronic fuel-lever sender in place of fuel float. In-line priming electric fuel-pump near fuel tank, with Fairborn modified Mopar Carter mechanical fuel pump up front. Custom Auto Sound AM/FM radio in stock location, with ipod, usb, and, mini stereo interfaces, along with their dual voice coil 5” x 7” single rear speaker in stock location. Turner late-model front and rear disk brakes with dual master cylinder conversion including two residual check valves, adjustable proportioning valve, and Wilwood dual, clear, remote reservoirs on cowl. Five six-inch wide Wheels Vintique steel wheels, painted in original Studebaker off-white color with original hub-cabs. (Compare to aged 4 ½” wide original wheels which were never meant for radial tires.) Five Hankok 215R x 15” whitewall tires. New upper and lower control arm bushings with alignment, rebuilt p.s. including control valve, ram, pump and hoses. Halotron Fire Extinguisher mounted under front of passenger seat, four new Seat Belts, new water pump and all engine mechanicals re-sealed. Very good paint, chrome and new upholstery. It has about the highest quality, best wired car with comprehensive grounds I have ever seen and I did it myself. Drive this completely sorted car anywhere.
